2026-2027 Tuition & Fees

St.Thomas Aquinas

Kindergarten-8th Grade

A $400 registration fee is applicable to all K-8 students. This fee includes the book, technology, and activity fees.  For returning families, fees are billed in Smart Tuition in April  2026. Payment of these fees secures your child’s spot for the following academic year. This fee is non-refundable.

• Participating STA Parish* Families: $7,800.00/per student
• STA Community Families: $10,250/per student

*In order to qualify for the parishioner tuition rate, families must be registered members of the parish at least three months prior to the start of the school year and contribute their time, talent and treasure (tithing $1,300/year) to the Church. The parishioner tuition rate also requires that at least one parent in the family is a practicing Catholic and that the child or children who are students in the school be baptized and participate in the sacramental life of the parish.

The following grades have additional field trip fees. For the 2026-20267school year, these fees will be added to the tuition within Smart Tuition to allow for ease of payment by families.

• 5th Social Studies Field Trip: $35
• 6th Social Studies & Science Field Trip: $150
• 7th Science Field Trip: $150
• 8th Science Field Trips: $160

Resources Available to Support Families

We do not want the cost of tuition to prohibit any child from attending St. Thomas Aquinas.  Our community is fortunate to have multiple avenues to support our families, including Indiana Choice Scholarship, SGO, and endowment funded scholarships.

• Indiana Choice Scholarship

  • To receive the Indiana Choice  Scholarship, every household must complete an application by April 30 that contains proof of residency for each student. Indiana requires that St. Thomas Aquinas School prepare and submit the Indiana Choice Scholarship Application on your behalf.  

  • There is a multi-step process to receive the Indiana Choice Scholarship funds.

• All students in Indiana, regardless of family income, are eligible for an Indiana Choice Scholarship provided by the state. Anticipated scholarship amounts are below, based on the school district in which families reside:

• Registration Fee: $250
• Preschool Snack Fee: $250
• Full tuition (Parishioner discounts are not applicable for preschool): $8,782

Financial Support for St. Thomas Aquinas School Families 

Families may qualify for Indiana Choice Scholarships based on the State of Indiana criteria. (LINK TO STATE INFO)

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is blessed to have a variety of ways to provide financial assistance for school tuition and fees. This policy is in place to ensure there is an effective process for families to request and receive financial assistance. (LINK TO POLICY INFO)

Tuition Payment

St. Thomas uses Smart Tuition for tuition management and collection. Tuition due dates:

● Installment plans are available via SMART Tuition to collect, record, and deposit tuition payments. Tuition payments may be made annually, by semester or over ten (10) months (July – April).

● If a family chooses to make one payment, the payment is due July 2026.
