Race — its origins, uses and evolution — highlighted discussion at STA’s first Diversity Dinner on Saturday, June 15. About 40 parishioners attended the pitch-in dinner hosted by the Race and Culture Committee. They based the event on a National Geographic article titled “There’s No Scientific Basis for Race — It’s a Made-Up Label,” which appeared in special edition that explores how race defines, separates and unites us.
