Wellness Committee
Faith Community Nursing is the specialized practice of professional nursing that focuses on the intentional care of the spirit as part of the process of promoting holistic health and preventing or minimizing illness in a faith community. We serve the church and broader community by reflecting the compassionate healing love of Christ through promoting the health and wholeness of body, mind and spirit.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Wellness Committee strives to advocate for the education, awareness and engagement in community health promotion resources across the lifespan. Some examples of events sponsored by the Wellness Committee include:
- Flu Clinic – Every fall in the Bethany Room
- Annual Blood Drive – (Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
Parish Blood Drive: Sunday, March 23, 2025
- Location: STA Gym
- Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Appointments are appreciated! Sign-up LINK
Our goal is at least 14 donors. By giving just giving one pint of blood, you can help save up to three people’s lives! Please consider giving up to one hour of your time during this Lenten season for a life saving cause.
