Bereavement: When a member of our community dies, it is our responsibility and privilege to support the family with our compassion, prayers and assistance with funeral planning.
In addition, we:
- Help plan annual Memorial Mass for All Souls’ Day.
- Invite families who have lost loved ones during the previous year to an Annual Memorial Prayer Service in early December.
- Maintain a Book of Remembrance where the names and dates of death of parishioners are entered by family members.
Tea and Empathy gatherings will be an opportunity for parishioners to meet and share feelings of loss (including but not limited loss of loved ones, job security, relationship, etc.) in a safe, welcoming and supportive community. For more information, please contact parish office, 317-253-1461.
