AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE
The STA Parish Council has openings for one elected member and one appointed member to serve a 3-year term, beginning in August 2025.
The Purpose of the Council is to serve as an advisory body to Fr. Varghese in “a relationship of shared responsibility with the Pastor . . . [to] enable the parish to experience itself as a community of faith called to proclaim the Good News of God’s Kingdom present among us. ” (Section 1 of Council Constitution). One of it’s main tasks is to articulate and steward a vision and plan for the parish.

All parishioners are eligible to serve on council. Please use the same email address (parishcouncil@staindy.org) to nominate yourself or another member of the parish (with his/her awareness). Or, you may place a name in the offering basket at Mass or call the Parish Office at (317) 253-1461. The deadline for all nominations is June 29, 2025.
