As a Doctor of the Church, he has been given the title &#8220;Angelic Doctor&#8221; and is the patron of Catholic universities and schools. St. Thomas reflected the Dominican ideal. He was a true contemplative who shared the fruits of contemplation with others.<\/p>\n<p>Did You know that St. Thomas wrote music?<\/p>\n<p>The most popular Hymns written by him are the Eucharistic Hymns: O Salutaris, Tantum Ergo and Pange Lingua.<\/p>\n<p>May our Patron Saint continue to be inspiration for our Parish and intercede for us.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewtn.com\/expert\/answers\/indulgences_conditions.htm\">plenary indulgence<\/a> is granted the Christian faithful who devoutly make a visit to their parish church on the feast\u00a0day of its patron saint.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary.
