The STA children’s play group is a chance for parents and their young kiddos (babies – 4 years old) to gather, talk and play. We meet one Thursday morning per month from 9-11am – the upcoming Thursday date varies according to our schedules, so we pick our next date at the end of our play group time. So far we’ve gathered at our homes, at parks, a doughnut shop (much to my delight!), a free kid’s live music jam session, and at STA for the past couple winter months. At STA we first gather in the Bethany Room for snack and toys, and then we head down to the gym for an hour of balls & mats play time.
We are very thankful to the STA staff for being so warm & welcoming to us – providing snacks, setting up toys/balls/mats, and checking on us throughout our group. Thank you for providing such a fun space for our little guys! In the spring & summer, we are planning on hitting up the zoo, children’s museum, etc.
A monthly Saturday gathering is currently in the works as well with the first gathering planned for the morning of Sat March 9, location TBD. And our next monthly Thursday gathering will be Thursday, Feb 28th at STA.
