SPIRITUAL GROWTH PILLAR
The STA High School Youth Group was established in 2018 to encourage 9th-12th grade parishioners to continue their relationship with the parish once they have completed their Religious Education journeys. The cornerstones of the youth group are faith, fellowship, and community service. They meet these cornerstones through serving the ministries of STA and surrounding communities, as well as participating in fellowship based activities such as rock climbing, Go Ape Ropes Course, Topgolf, ice skating, camp retreats, and conferences.
We are currently planning our 2019-2020 event calendar and look forward to having the rising 9th graders join us in the fall. One of the big events for the youth group in the coming school year will be attending the National Catholic Youth Conference in November. This 9th-12th grade conference is an opportunity to encounter Christ and discipleship in an engaging format with featured speakers and artists. In addition, we will be having another weekend retreat at Camp Rancho Framasa, service opportunities within STA and the Cathedral Soup Kitchen, along with recreation based fellowship activities. We would love to have all 9th-12th grade parishioners join us for what will be anther awesome year!
