Sausage Fest 2018 was another major success for our parish.  Despite the threat of bad weather and several important area football games on Friday night, we still cleared over $93,000.00 in net profit as our Saturday night was one of the busiest nights we have ever had.  The return of the raffle and the retooled teen zone certainly helped our bottom line as well.  Thanks to all of our volunteers and especially those who served as area coordinators, John Morrical, Brandon and Alyse Thomas, Brooke Smith, Chris Durnil, Carmen Soto, Emily and Chris Koschnick, Tom Spaulding, Sharon Horvath, Andy Pike, Chad Berry, Andy Medley, Eddie and Clark Taylor, Theresa McMahon, Moira Dugan, Mark Helton, Jeremy Walthall and Shelia Brown.  A special thanks to George Burk whose free-of-charge electrical wizardry every year powers and lights our festival.

We also have a few notable retirements from the festival committee this year.  After many long years, Troy Gregory is moving on from running our beer operations (perhaps he has enough Sun King in his day job).  Brian Crist is retiring from the Sausage King position.  For the 2019 Sausage Fest, Brandon Thomas is the new Sausage King.  We’ll be sending out the dates for the 2019 Fest soon.
