The documentary A Place at the Table: African Americans on the Path to Sainthood  will be shown in two parts during Diversity Dinners on Sept. 24 and Oct. 8. Please join us in the Bethany Room after the 5:30 p.m. Mass to share a meal, view the film and join in a reflection and discussion. Sign up HERE to attend and volunteer to bring food.

The documentary will introduce you to these six holy African American men and women: Father Augustus Tolton, Pierre Toussaint, Henriette Delille, Julia Greeley, Mother Mary Elizabeth Lange, and Sister Thea Bowman. You will learn from their ordinary struggles that all people are called to sainthood, the road to sainthood is not easy, and that sainthood is about serving God and God’s people. This series is FREE and is sponsored by the STA Race and Culture Committee. All are welcome!
