On Saturday, April 27th, Johnny Alderman will be constructing 13 raised-bed frames for our new garden at the Boulevard Place Food Pantry.  Eight of these (4′ X 12′) will be exclusively for the food pantry use.     Five smaller ones (3′ X 8′) will be offered to neighbors of the pantry for their use.    Any not taken will be offered to supporters of the pantry (volunteers, donors, etc) for their use.

PLEASE COME LEND A HAND AT 11:00 a.m.    BRING GLOVES, SHOVELS, SCOOPS, WHEELBARROWS AND GARDEN CARTS AND HELP US FILL THE BEDS WITH SOIL THAT WILL BE DELIVERED THE DAY BEFORE.

Our intention is to make this an organic garden and it will be supervised by Greg Walton (Al Bynum’s son-in-law) who is president of Green with Indy, Inc. a Food Waste Composting and Organic Vegetable Gardening firm.

Have children needing service hours??????    Bring them along!!!!!!!!!!!

We hope to see you, as many hands make quick and light work.
