Eucharistic Ministry

This ministry provides a group of specially trained STA parishioners who distribute communion during all Masses, take communion to the sick, and lead communion services. All communion ministers go through a training session, with special training for those ministers who are willing to be head ministers. Head ministers set up for each Mass and wash all dishes used following each Mass. Training sessions for all new and renewing ministers will be conducted on January 29-30, 2006 and February 11-12, 2006. All ministers will be commissioned the weekend of February 11-12, 2006. Ministers serve about every 3-4 weeks. They are expected to make a commitment for 3 years at a time..
