There’s a spot for everyone on this diverse and important committee! The parish auction, held every two years, is the major fund-raiser for our church and school. There are 16 committees: acquisitions, large ticket acquisitions, database management, item packaging and merchandizing, catalog ad sales, catering, décor, graphic design, ticket sales, sponsorships, communications, school baskets, raffle, set-up/tear-down, and hospitality. Planning begins the February before the auction in November. Meetings are typically held once a month through the summer, then more frequently leading up to the event. The hourly commitment depends entirely upon what you are willing and able to give.
