Time & Talent Opportunities at STA

In Jesus’ time, the word steward referred to a specific vocation—the manager of a household, a responsible administrator of the owner’s property—not to the owner of the assets. Today, church people often refer to it as the way members use their time, talent, and treasure.

We are all stewards of some possessions and influence. The question is: “What kind of stewards are we?” If we start with a spirit of gratitude for the gifts God has granted us, we are able to reflect more prayerfully upon the opportunities we have to give back to our community and our church.

Following is a list of some of the ways you can share your gifts with St. Thomas Aquinas. As you can see, there is a need for all types of people with all kinds of talents. Please take some time to consider how you can best let your own personal light shine upon your fellow parishioners and the spiritual joy that may come into your life when you use your gifts in service to others.
