Christ Renews His Parish (CHRP): CHRP is a copyrighted parish renewal process that has existed since 1989 and is recommended by the renewal office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. It has been used as the primary instrument of personal and parish renewal in over 883 parishes in 32 states and 84 Catholic dioceses.
This program helps parishioners build a closer relationship with God through an intensive retreat weekends held separately for men and women.
Volunteers will participate in the retreat weekend and then a formation period. The participants then host the next retreat weekend. Time commitment to CHRP depends on the number of sessions but for no more than two full weekends in one years time and one evening a week for 12 weeks after the initial retreat.
Typically the men’s retreat is held in the fall and the women’s in early winter.
Information about upcoming retreats will be published in the parish bulletin, email updates and on this site.
