Centering Prayer: The Centering Prayer Group is a small group of individuals that gathers every Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Bosler Chapel for silent contemplative prayer.

Contemplative prayer is a wordless stillness in the presence of God – an opening of the heart and mind to God.  The method of centering prayer involves the silent repetition of a sacred word or phrase.  We sit in silence with this sacred work and as we become aware of thoughts in our minds, we gently return to the sacred word.

Experience with centering prayer is not required.  Although we meet weekly, regular attendance is not required.  Come regularly or when you are able.
