All Saints Day (Saturday Nov. 1) and All Souls Day (Sunday Nov. 2) will be observed next weekend with a display in our narthex. These are the days in our Catholic calendar when we commemorate all those who have died.

STA school children have created an altar with artwork in honor of the deceased and in recognition of the colorful Hispanic festival, Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos (which begins Saturday Nov. 1 and ends Sunday Nov. 2).

The Bereavement Committee of STA is displaying a poster with the names of our four parish members who have died since November 2013. Please look for this in the narthex also.

All parishioners are invited to bring pictures of their deceased loved ones.  These will be placed on the display table during the weekend Masses.  Other items to be placed on the table could include programs from their funerals or memorial services.  Items will be returned to their owners by the committee.

Thanks to Mrs. Wini Wood, our art teacher, Ms. Johanna, our after-school care-giver, and the school kids for contributing time and talent to this meaningful time.
