THE APOSTOLATE OF FRENCH-SPEAKING CATHOLICS OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF INDIANAPOLIS (ACFADI)

In addition to becoming our new administrator and catholic chaplain at Butler University, Fr. Michael Hoyt is the chaplain for the Apostolate of French-speaking Catholics of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. This Apostolate serves the francophone Catholics within the Archdiocese who come from various countries. Its mission is to:

  • Share the Good News of Jesus-Christ
  • Engage in charitable works
  • Promote Christian spiritual life in families

ACFADI engages in various events and ministries. The primary event which gathers its members is the monthly Mass celebrated in French. ACFADI’s parish base has been St Michaels for the past 3 years. Now, with Fr. Michael’s arrival to St Thomas, our parish will be serving as its base for the monthly Mass. The Mass in French occurs every 2nd Sunday of the month at 12:30pm, from now on at St Thomas. The first Mass in French will be Sunday, July 9th at 12:30. All are welcome to attend, French speakers and non-French speakers alike. The Mass is joyful, vibrant, prayerful and has a 20-person choir that is wonderful. Please join us!
