We had another fantastic day at the Noblesville West Tournament on Saturday, 2/3.  The teams are all looking stronger at every tournament.  Today we had 6 teams present their STEM projects and they all did a wonderful job! In addition to presenting their projects they were interviewed about the design process they went through in building their robots.  Once again I am so proud of each and everyone of our kids.  They have put in so much time and effort and are really doing a fantastic job of representing STA.  I want to recognize Middle School Team 10546D for their super performance in placing 15th overall in the tournament out of 46 teams and earning the honor of going to the finals! Congratulations to Colin Chandler, Kyle Foster, Sam Grogan, Hank Salzmann, and Jackson Sochacki.  That is the highest place any of our robots have ever finished.

We took three special trophies at today’s tournament.  Middle School Team 10546B won the top tournament trophy again by taking another Excellence Award.  If you recall they won this award at our January tournament at Guion Creek which gave them a spot at the State Finals. Congratulations to Julia Dugan, Maggie Gonzalez, Jackson Herrera, Anna Imel, and Maggie Timpe.
Our elementary teams were really awesome today!  Team 10675A won the STEM Project Trophy and as a result have qualified to be in the State Finals! Congratulations to Kate Dugan, Jaice Hoosier, Rachael Hudson, and Isabel Tipmore! Team 10675C won the Design Trophy for their robot and are also qualified to go to the State Finals! Congratulations to Ronan Delaney, Nick Herrera, Lily Imel, Lilly Medley, Colin Meier, and Carlos Padgett!
